Catharsis - Trauma Release - Ecstasy
Have you ever looped your breath? Connecting your inhalation and exhalation to a beautiful circle of breath?
You might wonder, isn’t that how I am naturally breathing anyway?
Pay attention for a moment: you might sense the slight natural pause at the top of your inhalation and a slight pause at the bottom of your exhalation.
These pauses of the breath themselves are a gateway to heaven (literally, you’ll find out more in another blog article).
How you Suppress your Breath (unconsciously)
Something similar can be said for dropping the pauses and looping your breath: a gateway to heaven. Or hell. A good kind of hell though.
Like the “hellish” experience you actually are ready to experience and unconsciously even want to.
Conscious connected breathwork is a way to free your breath from the corset of your thinking. Every single thought you think has an impact on how you live your life: on your behavior, on your emotions, on your breath and well-being.
Unfortunately 95% of your thought material is unconscious, so imagine how suppressed your breath is and how much potential you actually loose to support your well-being and create the life you wish for.
Set Your Breath Free
Freeing our breath with conscious connected breathwork means to bring our suppressed emotions to the surface - the ones you might not even remember from birth, childhood and trauma stuff. It means to declutter our mind to be so clear with ourselves and experience embodied wisdom. So yes, such a breathwork session can be hellish - too much, too fast to process (that’s why you would definitely chose an experienced and trauma versed breathwork facilitator, wouldn’t you?) -
and yes at the same time your breath establishes the most beautiful, intimate, healing connection there is: with yourself.
No Psychedelics needed, just Your Breath
Conscious connected breathwork frees you even from breathing - at least it might feel as if your breath breathes you. Unleashing you. The embodied ecstasy and catharsis is just a few cycles of connected breath away. All of this sounds quite psychedelic, doesn’t it? Of course it does, as conscious connected breathwork might stimulate this magical area in the brain which is responsible for a good DMT kick. There is limited scientific research about it, but hey, my own conscious connected breathwork practice gave me very embodied evidences: transpersonal experiences, spiritual awakenings, feeling of oneness with the universe are just a few which really deeply and sustainably helped me to grow into presence.
Really, this is what is conscious connected breathwork is about and why I love to share this practice with you: it helps you into mindful presence with your deep inner and higher self.
